Kolorex® Advanced Candida Care Softgels

General Information

Using patented supercritical CO2 extraction technology Forest Herbs Research has created a powerful extract from the New Zealand native herb Pseudowintera colorata, and branded it Kolorex Horopito Oleoresin. Kolorex Horopito is grown organically on Forest Herbs’ own farm, Kaituna, and the Kolorex Horopito Oleoresin allows a uniform, high potency extract free from harmful residues. The softgels are manufactured from the oleoresin and are free from lecithin. The concentration of active ingredient in each batch of oleoresin is independently assayed.

Suggested Use

Kolorex softgels capsules provide natural support in the maintenance of normal intestinal Candida levels. Horopito has a long history of traditional use, and there are no published reports of toxicity to Horopito. As a precaution, Kolorex softgels is not recommended during pregnancy.

Efficacy

In vitro studies at two of New Zealand’s leading research organizations, Cawthron Institute and University of Canterbury, show that the Kolorex Horopito in Kolorex softgels is fungicidal against Candida albicans. Softgels manufactured from freshly extracted oleoresin can eliminate an inoculum of greater than one million colonies of C. albicans in one to three days (Challenge Test ref CI 43708) Zone of inhibition results (see graph below) shows efficacy and stability of softgels compared with pharmaceutical Nystatin over time (testing by University of Canterbury)
